Black Friday: 35% off SquareTrade Warranties (Updated Again)

On Black Friday (beginning at midnight), SquareTrade will offer 35% off warranty extensions, using coupon code WARRANTYSANTA on their web site.

Note that this code is not yet active, and will only be valid on the first 10,000 warranties sold.

We’re posting this now since many people already have bought items on pre-Black Friday sales, for which this coupon will save you money on the extended warranty. In addition, if you have already purchased a SquareTrade warranty (and you will still be within 30 days of purchase on the 28th), it probably is a good idea to re-purchase the warranty on the 28th, and then cancel the old warranty.

There is no penalty on canceling within the first 30 days, and 35% off is the highest valid coupon we’ve seen in recent months.

Update: Coupon still valid, but SquareTrade now notes that there is a $50 limit on the total discount.

Update: Coupon has been extended to the end of Tuesday.
